The lips are the threshold of perception, the doorway giving access to the mystery of life. Our origin is in the Big Bang, we are made from cosmic dust and we feed on galaxies and thoughts. Imagination crystallises after the combustion of parcels of nature.

The sense of taste is our survival. Millions of years feeding a body that is never satisfied. We relish ideas, we savour instinct and the collective imaginary seasons our fantasies Through the palate - the canopy of time - we assimilate the pleasure of living.

Barely a reflex action, trivial because of its everydayness, the act of taking something to our mouths starts up the machinery of the Universe that lives inside us.
